Human health fundamentally depends on functional ecosystems and a stable climate - this is what »Planetary Health« is about. How is our planet doing? What does this mean for us? What can we learn from COVID-19? This lecture will give you a diagnosis of our planetary crisis and starting points for healing humans and planet.

Prof. Dr. Dr. med. Sabine Gabrysch is a medical doctor and epidemiologist. She has been working at the Heidelberg Public/ Global Health Institute and now holds the position of professor for climate change and health at the Institute for Public Health at the Berlin Charité, where she is predominantly focusing her work on Planetary health. Moreover, Prof. Gabrysch is affiliated with the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
