Participation
All doctoral candidates aiming for a Dr. med. or Dr. med. dent. (NOT Dr. sc. hum!) who handed in their application (“Anmeldung als Doktorand/in”) at the Office of Doctoral Affairs (“Promotionsbüro”) of the Medical Faculty of Heidelberg as of December 01, 2016 are obliged to participate in the program.
After you have been accepted as a doctoral candidate, we will contact you and inform you about your training requirements. We will also provide you with a form which you should fill in and submit to the Office (“Geschäftsstelle”) of the MEDISS Doctoral Program within four weeks. To submit your doctoral thesis at the Office of Doctoral Affairs, you will need to prove that you successfully completed the MEDISS Doctoral Program. A transcript of records will be issued at the Office of the MEDISS Doctoral Program.
