Studentische od. Wissenschaftliche Hilfskraft (m/w/d)
(student or graduate assistant (m/f/d))
40 hours/month, for at least 3 months (extension possible).
Your Tasks
The group is seeking a highly motivated and qualified student to participate in a project focusing on the molecular signaling pathways during lung vascular remodeling after exposure to hypoxia. Techniques and methods you may employ include
- genotyping using PCR
- RNA extraction and RT-PCR analysis
Your Profile
- student in biosciences or medicine with some practical experience in laboratory work gained during lab courses or assitantships/internships
- willingness to rapidly familiarize yourself with new experimental methods
- experience with animals or molecular and biochemical techniques is an advantage but not mandatory
- some knowledge of vascular biology, although not required, would be beneficial
- good command of the English language and the ability to interact within an international team
