Office of the Dean
“The Dean's Office (previously the Faculty Board) is responsible for all matters relating to the faculty, unless the Landeshochschulgesetz (LHG, ”State higher education act") stipulates otherwise. After consultation with the Faculty Council, it determines the teaching duties of members of the faculty who are obliged to teach, insofar as this is necessary to guarantee a proper teaching program. Within the scope of the Faculty's duties, the Dean's Office supervises the research and teaching facilities and the technology transfer facilities assigned to the Faculty (LHG Section 15 (7)). It is responsible for the economic utilisation of the funds allocated to the faculty for research and teaching as well as for technology transfer. The Dean's Office informs the Faculty Council of all important matters on a regular basis and immediately in the event of special circumstances" (LHG).
