AI Community at the Medical Faculty Heidelberg

Artificial intelligence is not only changing our everyday lives - it is also opening up completely new possibilities in medicine. AI is already being used and further developed in areas such as diagnostics, imaging and patient management. At the At the Medical Faculty Heidelberg, AI research is not a marginal topic: numerous interdisciplinary working groups - from cardiology to infectiology - are working on and with AI technologies to make medical research and care fit for the future.

The Office for Digitalisation actively accompanies and supports these developments: with regular networking workshops, we create space for professional exchange, new collaborations and impulses from practice. The network meeting is open to all interested parties - you can register here.

We also promote the AI community: a dedicated exchange platform on Stack Overflow is available for questions, ideas and networking - a place for mutual support, discussion and knowledge building. You can find the community page here.

Heidelberg is already one of the central locations for medical AI research in Germany. Our goal is to further strengthen this potential - together with you.
