International medical students can apply for a clinical elective for 4 or 8 weeks at our University hospitals. Please note that we only accept international students with good command of German (level B2 of the European framework).

You are currently in your 3rd to 5th year of studies

You can apply for a clinical elective in one discipline for a period of 4 weeks. Please send us the completed application form, a language certificate, a vaccination certificate and a CV.

You are currently in your 6th year of studies

You can apply for a clinical elective for a period of 4 to 12 weeks. You can do rotations in a maximum of three disciplines. Please send us the completed application form, a language certificate, a vaccination certificate and a CV.

• Application form 6th year

You apply for an Erasmus placement

Within the framework of the Erasmus placement program you can apply for a clinical elective for a period of 12 weeks (from your 3rd year of studies on). You can do rotations in a maximum of three disciplines. Please send us the completed application form, a language certificate, a vaccination certificate, a CV and a training agreement.
