Welcome to the Interdisciplinary Neurobehavioral Core (INBC)
The Interdisciplinary Neurobehavioral Core (INBC) of Heidelberg University is a multidisciplinary in vivo platform that provides a state-of-the-art facility, infrastructure and assistance for the entire neuroscience community for addressing functional consequences of molecular, cellular and network manipulations at the whole organismal level, combining behavioural analyses, optogenetics, in vivo electrophysiology and surgery. One of its main goals is to facilitate collaborative projects between basic scientists and clinically-oriented researchers allowing exchange of knowledge and dissemination of innovative ideas.
The INBC offers a satellite facility for space, equipment, expert support for rodent studies. We are a self-service facility where scientist can come and work themselves on their projects We are happy to discuss your project and will provide you with a cost estimation.
Anyone will be fully trained before he can work at our facility.
