Neuro- und Sinnesphysiologie

Die Abteilung befasst sich mit einem breiten Spektrum von neurowissenschaftlichen Fragestellungen auf der Ebene neuronaler Netzwerke. Die sieben Arbeitsgruppen bearbeiten die Mechanismen koordinierter neuronaler Aktivität sowie pathophysiologische Vorgänge bei Sauerstoffmangel, neurodegenerativen und entzündlichen Erkrankungen. Wir setzen ein breites Spektrum von Methoden der Elektrophysiologie, Bildgebung und Verhaltensforschung sowie moderne molekulare und strukturelle Verfahren ein.
